My kids may never forgive me for putting this photo on my website, but whatever. I love it. It was a very good day.
I’m a dancer, mom, wife, lifelong learner, meditator, athlete, teacher, connector, organizer, science nerd, guide, and voracious reader (but not one page of fiction). I have a very busy brain of my own and even on my most distracted days, I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I’m happiest when I’m in the dance studio, on the beach or deep in the woods, ….or when I’m changing the worldview on ADHD to one of strength and creativity.
I’ve been teaching others dance and fitness since the first time headbands and leg warmers were cool, and took a tour through the workaday world via human resources. Recruitment and development were my HR specialties because I love making the perfect match between people and the work they love, and helping them do it really well.
My coaching blends all my previous experience: recruitment, development, dance, health coaching and parenting. Together, we work with my signature 4-point framework, the Four Elements of Alchemy:
Movement/exercise (the right kind for ADHD!)
Nutrition (also, special for ADHD)
Metacognition & Mindfulness (you guessed it…different!)
Systems, Habits & Tools (in a cheeky little acronym: “SHT”)
I want to live in a world where ADHD is seen as just a difference, not a disorder.
I believe that our differences are assets, and that we need all kinds of minds to make the best things happen. I believe that every challenge has a corresponding strength, if we're willing to look for it.
I'm here to help you find the brilliance in the chaos of ADHD.
I never even knew ADHD coaches existed before starting this journey -- much less, that I could bring a whole different strategy to the game. When my first kiddo was diagnosed with ADHD, I jumped right into all the research literature I could read. Pretty quickly, I realized a number of things...
So much of what I read felt like it explained everything about my life story to that point. When I asked my therapist if she thought there was a chance I might have ADHD too, she was shocked I had made it to my mid-forties without knowing.
Probably owing to my background in dance and health coaching, it made no sense to me that the research overwhelmingly looked only at the brain. I couldn't sequester the brain into its own tiny silo. I knew (and still know) body and mind are always connected; there's a constant feedback loop between them, so a change in one always affects the other.
Maybe I would have been a natural contrarian anyway, but that body-mind connection let me know there was another way. I knew I could do it bottom-up. I knew I could access the body first to create changes in the brain.
Whether we have known about our Fancy Brains for many years or a few months, there is an outsized load of shame and stigma we carry. A lifetime of hearing things like,
"You have so much potential, if only you'd focus."
"If you wanted to, you would just do it."
"You're really smart, just scattered."
"It's not that hard, just concentrate."
We have internalized messages that tell us being different is wrong and bad. Those messages lie, and I'm out to prove it. Different is good, and we need all the differences of the world coming together in order to be the best that we can be.
If you're still here, you must be looking for the nitty-gritty. Here goes.

I overuse the word “awesome” — not because I don’t understand its meaning, but because I do. I find joy and wonder in big and small things all the time.
My bookshelf is full of personal development, brain science, choreography and dance theory, child development, nutrition, anatomy, exercise science and more….but not one page of fiction. Who’s got time when there’s so much to learn?
If I could do it all over again without repeating anything, I’d want to be a stunt car driver. Or maybe a psychologist. Or a professional rock-star drummer. Translator or linguist, perhaps? Possibly a fighter-jet pilot, but without the weapons.
I’m usually the shortest person in the room — even a room full of high school kids.
Music speaks to me in a way I can’t quite explain; I just wish I had an instant video record of what I see in my mind when hearing certain songs.
Once you commit to the ADHD Strength Hub, the process is as simple as any online checkout. You'll immediately get access to the content library and peer community, plus a calendar to schedule all your coaching engagements (and extras, like INTENSATI). Your confirmation and access email will contain your login credentials, and you can change your password if you'd like.
Nope - but with an asterisk.
The great news is that everything we do here is good for all brains; it just happens to be essential for Fancy Brains. So, there's nothing to lose even if you don't have a diagnosis, and a whole lot to gain if you do.
One of the core concepts here is that knowledge really is power, so if you have access to a full evaluation, it's a great idea to get a deeper understanding of your thinking style. (Yes, I can refer you to some rock-star evaluators who will not dismiss your concerns and tell you it's just age or all in your head.) You might find that the challenges you're facing actually stem from something other than ADHD, which could open new doors for you.
Self-diagnosis can be a powerful tool. You're smart, you're informed, and you know your lived experience. If you're learning about ADHD and feel like it's explaining your life story, you're probably on to something! You might also want to look at my Completely Unscientific Self Assessment to see what strikes a chord. It's not meant to diagnose, but instead to help you discern your experience and offer talking points to take to your clinician.
Coaching is all about action and results. It's where the rubber meets the road of executive functioning, and where theory becomes concrete. We will work with feelings and mindset a bit (especially in dismantling the ADHD shame cycle), but our main goal is to get you the results you want. That means we need to focus mainly on the present moment and the future. Each coaching session will start from strength, and afford you at least one task to put into action right away, so you have momentum and progress toward what you want.
Holistic means we’re going to look at the whole picture of a full and busy life. It’s not just about one behavior or one environment. We may need to address needs at home, office, school, and more. Our 4-point framework includes:
Movement/Exercise
Nutrition
Metacognition/Mindfulness and
S-H-T (Systems, Habits and Tools).
The first thing you’ll notice is the language: we’re not going to discuss ‘deficits,’ ‘disease,’ ‘disability’ or ‘disorder.’ We will talk about awareness, direction and intent.
We don’t even talk much about “superpowers” because it’s important to balance them with undeniable challenges. We talk instead about “strengths” and how to make them work for us.
We’re not about to start with what we “can’t” do. We’ll notice what we can do, and what can grow from that, and where we can add on new stuff.
We won’t insist on sitting still or being quiet. We’re going to recognize that there are challenges inherent to a mind and body that don’t stay still — while we also look for, practice and praise the positives in that aspect.
We’re going to start where we are and build on what already feels easy and natural.
We’ll take the things that feel difficult and turn them over like a coin to look for the hidden strength in them.
It often requires some reframing: it’s no longer a burdensome diagnosis, but a learning style that’s just as good and valid as any other. It just takes a few extra tricks to put it to best use.

I get it — I don’t casually throw money around, and wouldn’t expect you to either. It’s a commitment, and commitment pays off. It’s a way of saying to your self, your brain, and the world, “this is important.” It’s a commitment that I take seriously as well: I am reminded every day that I need to deliver maximum value. You show up 100%, and I show up 100% and together we are force multipliers.
Plus, when you think about all the roles you play in your life, is it really only for your self? How do your family relationships benefit when you feel more at ease? What could you do at work when you are able to direct your energy effectively? How much better could you feel in every moment if you were taking better care of your whole being? I’m not afraid to say it: if you can’t do this for your self, do it for the ones who love and need you at your best.
Your call. The Strength Hub is a 90-day journey and many choose to renew at that point, to continue learning and growing. At checkout, you'll see options to pay monthly or all at once (for a bit of savings). Either way, I'm going to give my very best to delivering so much transformation and value that you'll love every penny you invest.
While coaching is not typically covered by insurance, and fit-ology is not in-network with any providers, clients have successfully used FSA and HSA accounts to cover their coaching journey.
Of course not -- who would? The aim of the ADHD Strength Hub is to build community, so that you're in a group of friends, not strangers. We all need to take privacy seriously, and remember that the things we discuss are sensitive. Not all of us have the same tolerance for sharing, and that's okay -- we need to respect all information at the highest level, and this is an expectation of membership.
As a company, the ADHD Strength Hub/fit-ology will never, ever share your information without legal compulsion. That said, this is the Internet after all, and it's a wild, wild world. So use your best judgment in keeping the most sensitive information very close.
Remember, this is not cookie-cutter coaching. Through the 4-point framework, we come up with shifts that work in YOUR world. Sometimes, there’s more space for something slightly bigger. Other times, there is no space at all, and that’s okay too. Part of understanding our minds is working with the ebb and flow of both energy and time, so the practice is in finding that and adjusting to it.
There are backups too: if you can’t make a call time, you’ll get the replay. You’ll have support between sessions. You’ll have community peers who can fill you in and help in all kinds of ways. There’s a growing library of on-demand material to access at your own pace anytime you wish.
I hear you, and I've been there: questioning whether it's even worth trying because everything to this point has mostly failed.
A lot of this depends on your goals and commitment, can’t lie. I could coach my own face off at you, and if you don’t participate at all, it’s not going to help you. But listen, I’m in this because I love seeing people change. It’s not worth it to me without that sparkle in your eye, that smile when we chat, and your text to say, “I did it!” I’m in this with you and for you 100%— and if you’re in it too, we’re going to make a great team.
One of the important pieces is defining goals that work. If you’re expecting to be “cured” of ADHD, we need to redefine that goal! But if your goal sounds more like having more ease in your daily routine, more joy with your loved ones, more grace with yourself and more flow in your work then you’ll see the results you crave.
I get it: you've tried the planners, the apps, the "just do this one thing" advice thrown out to the neurotypical world. It was never made for you, though. It didn't take into account your interest-based nervous system, your sensitivity to rejection, your perfectionism, your distraction and dysregulation or anything else.
This is different.
I know it's different because I've lived it. I tried all those other things too, and kicked myself for not making them work or sticking with them.
That's why we'll find solutions that work for your unique wiring and lifestyle. We'll emphasize process over result and avoid the trap of perfect "consistency" -- persistent trajectory is the name of the game. We'll use the body-mind connection to create lasting positive change by addressing the whole person (not just a singular trait).
This is deep, true transformation, not just a new shiny thing. And we've got your back the whole way through.
I’m here to own my part. I’m going to give you my best every time we meet — the best of my training, my lived experience, my research, my intuition, my trust and my professional knowledge. There’s no doubt in my mind that we can create big change (in small steps!).
The hardest but most important part: saying yes to yourself.
It's the hardest because it's out of your comfort zone. For so long, you've been making your self wrong, instead of considering that the things around you were the real issue.
What if you let your self be okay?
What if you could even release the self-blame and just be awesome (whether or not it's in the box called "normal")?
If nothing changes, then nothing changes. It's time to shift. It's time to commit.
It's time to say yes to yourself and know that you're making an investment that pays dividends for generations to come, because you'll join us in breaking the old paradigm and creating a shiny, bright new one. Your choice today to prioritize yourself means that future generations won't have to carry the shame and stigma that you have.
Join us - we need you, and the world needs your gifts!
